July 8th Challenge 16....to create a scene that celebrates Cumbria Life ad to include a person
July 1st Challenge 15...create a collage with the theme of water[seems appropriate considering the weather over recent days]
June 24th Challenge 14....a painting influenced by the style of Shirley Travenna's work
June 17th Challenge 13....still life painting of fruit and/or vegetables with one to be cut; working in any media

May 27th Challenge 10......this weeks challenge was to choose a favourite holiday destination but be influenced by an artist from that area
May 20th ….challenge 9.....this weeks challenge is to paint in any style, media or subject BUT cannot use a paintbrush, pastels or pencils of any sort.....palette knives, credit cards, sponges or sticks....here are some examples of what members created

. April 28th....challenge 6....for this weeks challenge a moment in time....featuring something that isn't permanent such as:- a sunset, a reflection, unusual cloud formations, a bee or butterfly on flower. Anything members choose and working in any media or style.
April 21st....challenge 5....for this week the challenge is to create an abstract painting....thinking about shape, colour and emotion. Things in or aspects of life that we as individuals love.
April 14th....challenge 4.....this week the challenge was to paint a view looking outside or looking inside but painting in the style of a famous artist
April 7th....challenge 3...relates back to our programme as we would have had a life drawing workshop: we were asked to draw or paint someone we missed or who we were sharing 'lockdown' with....
March 27th... the next challenge for our members is be inspired by the style of Samuel John Peploe
March 18th..the topic will be CASTLES. Members are free to work in any media, any style using inspiration from photos, inspiration from books or simply an imaginary scene
