The 2019 exhibition is over but here are some memories. Over 200 paintings were hung making an impressive and varied display. The cakes kept coming fresh everyday offering different delicious delights to choose from. We displayed happy memories of members who had died during the past year and held a raffle. The winning ticket was no.298 bought by Aileen Prouting. Our Good Cause this year was Bay Search and Rescue and we will be presenting them with a cheque for £563.18.
Every year we invite visitors to the exhibition to vote for their favourite painting, some challenge for them but they never disappoint but the voting this year was surprisingly close when it came to counting …………
with 21 votes was Brenda Bainbridge who first exhibited in the group exhibition back in 1988.... was their favourite,
in 2nd place with 20 votes was Brenda Garsden and in 3rd place with 17 votes was Dougi Brown …

In 4th place was 'A tricky Customer' with 16 votes was Janis Bancroft; in 5th place was Derwentwater with 15 votes by Chris Sellen and voted in 6th place with 13 votes was by Shelia Fishlock.
